gee whiz, look at his eyes.

I like this boy a lot, but I already know he’ll never like me back. I once heard him say

“[He] doesn’t waste time on girls because they’re a waste of time”. I respect him and his opinions enough to not compromise them. He’s just a genuine guy, It’s hard to let go of that with ease. It sucks because he’s just this sweet and great guy. He’s insecure and guarded, but he’s still great. He hides behind humor, but he’s pretty funny. Sure, he may not be the best looking guy, but his heart is in the right place and has everyone’s best interest at heart. There’s no such thing as the perfect guy, but he’s pretty dang close in my eyes. Friend or not, I will always respect him and see him as a guy that everyone needs in their life. He’s always there and will never disappoint.

No, I don’t love him because that’s kind of absurd considering we aren’t the closest of friends. I never thought a little “hey that guy is cute” would turn into this. Either way, thank you for being in my life. I guess it’s time for me to let go, even though I should’ve a long time ago :/
